Sri Mariamman Temple
The Sri Mariamman Temple is one of only two Hindu temples in the city. It was built in the 1860s by Tamil immigrants with colourful Hindu deities and an elaborate entrance. You can witness the daily rituals and prayers of the local Hindu community here but Thais also visit since there are Buddha images also.
Getting there: The closest BTS station to the Sri Mariamman temple is Chong Nonsi. Walk in the direction of Silom road and turn left. After 500 meters you will find the temple.
