Wat Phra Kaew and The Grand Palace
Wat Phra Kaew (the Emerald Buddha) and the Grand Palace are Thailand’s most famous attractions. Built in 1782 - and for 150 years the home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government, the Grand Palace of Bangkok continues to captivate visitors with its beautiful architecture and intricate detail, all of which is a proud salute to the creativity and craftsmanship of the Thai people. Additionally, within its walls were the Thai war ministry, state departments, and even the mint. Today, the site remains the spiritual heart of the Thai Kingdom.
Getting there: You can take a taxi or a TukTuk or take a Chao Phraya Express boat from pier along the river and get down at Tha Chang pier(N 09 Pier)
